About The Book
When Philip, Dinah, Jack, and Lucy-Ann arrive at (raggy-Tops, they expect nothing more than sea breezes and cliff walks. But looming offshore is the mysterious Isle of Gloom totally shrouded in mist and secrets. Why is the local farmer so intent on keeping people away? Who lights the lantern on the abandoned tower? Soon, the children stumble upon strange goings-on that involve locked doors, shadowy figures, and whispered legends of treasure and danger. As Jack's beloved parrot Kiki squawks warnings, the friends find themselves caught in a web of mystery. But when a sudden storm cuts them off from the mainland and someone-or samething-begins to follow them, the real adventure begins. Will they find out what's hidden beneath the island's dark rocks or disappear like those who came before?
